The situation
Maison Cooky bakes its cookies every day in a shop at Cap 3000, in Saint-Laurent-du-Var. The site had to show the range, the address and the opening hours, and be found on searches for cookies around Cap 3000.
The site is a single-page app. Left as it is, every address would send search engines the same empty page, and the individual cookies would never show up in results.
What we built
One page per cookie
Nine cookies, each with its own address, photo, ingredients, story, title and meta description.
Pre-rendered pages
At build time, one HTML file is written per route with the right title and description, and the sitemap is generated from the same list.
Local data for Google
Bakery structured data with the address inside Cap 3000, GPS coordinates and opening hours.
Find us page
Address, opening hours, one tap to get directions in Google Maps, and a link to the Instagram account.
Visit tracking
Page views, sections read and clicks on directions and Instagram are recorded and shown in a dashboard.
What runs on its own now
- Adding a cookie to the list creates its page, its meta tags and its sitemap entry at the next build
- Recording which pages are read and which buttons are clicked
