The situation
PLV Concept designs and builds custom displays and stands for brands, from its workshop in Roquebrune-sur-Argens. Its catalogue was an HTML export dating from 2017.
The new site had to show past work client by client, explain how the company works, and make the catalogues readable on a phone as well as on a desktop.
What we built
Sixteen project pages
Each project has its own page with the brief, the solution, the result and the client logo, reachable from a gallery.
Catalogue viewer
Two catalogues, building and press, flipped page by page with a slider, on any screen.
Company pages
Trade, philosophy and values, strengths, technical means and contact, each on its own address.
Search and speed
Title and description per page, a sitemap, and images served by Cloudinary in the format and quality each browser needs.
Visit tracking
Named sections and marked calls to action, so it shows which projects and pages visitors open.
What runs on its own now
- Serving each image in the lightest format the visitor's browser accepts
- Recording which projects and sections visitors look at
