The situation
For many owners WhatsApp is the real office: clients, suppliers, quotes and voice notes all arrive there. Promises made in a chat get lost, a missed call is a client who will not call twice, and nobody keeps a list.
The goal was to keep WhatsApp as it is and add what it lacks: a to-do list, an agenda and a view of who is still waiting for an answer.
What we built
Inbox
Your WhatsApp conversations in a mobile web app, with documents and PDFs that open as on WhatsApp Web and voice notes written out and translated.
Tasks and appointments
Commitments and dates found in conversations become tasks and calendar entries. An appointment without a time is never given one.
Call log
Audio and video calls with who, when and the outcome. Missed calls not returned show up next to unanswered messages.
Meeting recaps
Record a meeting or drop an audio file: the app writes it out, summarises it and creates the tasks and appointments.
Reply drafts
Prepared replies stay drafts: nothing is sent without one tap from the user.
Admin dashboard
Usage and running cost per account, WhatsApp connection status and storage used, without any conversation content.
What runs on its own now
- A summary of the day is written at 7:00 and 19:00, local time, with who is waiting for an answer.
- New messages are read for tasks and appointments as they arrive.
- Voice notes are written out and translated when the language differs.
- Media files are cleared after 30 days by default, their description is kept.
