The situation
BABA runs several paid communities on Discord. Each one needed its own page, a price that is easy to read, and a sign-up path that keeps the contact even if the visitor stops at the payment step.
The site also had to state plainly what a member pays for, each month, and from whom, with no promise of earnings anywhere.
What we built
One page per community
BabaFinder for sneakers and streetwear, BabaPoké for Pokémon and trading cards, and BabaSpace, the members' web app, with a step-by-step guide.
Sign-up form
First name, last name, e-mail and phone are sent to a Google Sheet through Apps Script, then the visitor goes on to the checkout of the right offer.
Clear prices
Monthly price including VAT, automatic renewal and the name of the seller, read from a single source and shown the same way on the join page and in the sign-up window. An earnings disclaimer sits on the offer pages.
French and English
Every page also exists under /en, with a language switch in the menu.
Blog and visit tracking
Ten articles, a sitemap, and named calls to action whose clicks are counted as conversions.
What runs on its own now
- Saving each sign-up (name, e-mail, phone) to a Google Sheet
- Sending the visitor on to the checkout of the offer he chose
- Showing the same price everywhere from one source
